About the Coffee
What is Lezzet?
Lezzet is specialty-grade Turkish coffee, freshly roasted in small batches in the USA. We use a blend of Ethiopian and Brazilian Arabica beans, ground to the traditional powder-fine consistency.
What does 'specialty grade' mean?
Coffee is graded on a 100-point scale by certified cuppers. Specialty grade means a score of 80 or above — only the top 3% of coffee worldwide qualifies.
Where is Lezzet roasted?
Right here in the USA. We don't import pre-roasted coffee from overseas. Fresh roasting means better flavor.
What does 'Lezzet' mean?
Lezzet is Turkish for 'flavor' or 'taste.' It represents our mission to bring the freshest, most flavorful Turkish coffee to America.
Brewing
Do I need special equipment?
Just a cezve (Turkish coffee pot), which costs $10-15 on Amazon. In a pinch, any small saucepan works.
Can I use Lezzet in a regular coffee maker?
No. Turkish coffee is ground to a powder — much finer than drip or espresso grind. It would clog a drip machine or French press. It's designed to be brewed in a cezve on the stovetop.
How much caffeine is in Turkish coffee?
About 50-65mg per 2oz cup. An espresso has about 63mg, and drip coffee has about 95mg per 8oz cup.
Can I make iced Turkish coffee?
Yes! Brew hot as usual, let it cool, then pour over a glass packed with ice. Add milk if desired.

We roast in small batches and ship within days of roasting. Most orders arrive within 5-7 business days.

In Turkish culture, the grounds left in your cup after drinking reveal your fortune. It's called 'fal' and has been practiced for centuries.
How do I read my fortune?
